Evelyn Namara is a Ugandan technology entrepreneur with over 10 years of leading systematic change in the fields of social entrepreneurship, digital technology, and driving innovation for small businesses and has keen interest in the power Technology has in transforming lives, enabling innovation and entrepreneurship to foster long-term economic development.

Currently working at the coalface of African technology and finance – Evelyn’s passion is to create solutions that impact societies and communities.

She founded Vouch Digital, a fintech start-up working with international aid organizations, governments as well as corporates to help facilitate the distribution of value in form of aid, subsidies, and entitlements to end-users and program participants in a transparent, traceable manner leveraging both digital payments and electronic voucher means.

The Vouch platform helps NGOs and governments running cash-based programmes to track their impact while eliminating the need for intermediaries who often reduce value in the supply chain. Vouch has also created an incentives platform that helps businesses and corporates create, manage and distribute coupon-based campaigns that facilitate the acquisition, retention, and rewarding of customers.

Prior to starting Vouch, Evelyn led multiple technology for development projects and has worked in the telecommunications industry, renewable energy sector, digital payments, as well as tech start-ups
