Satisfashion UG Weddings is Hiring a Full-time ‘Weddings-Obsessed’ Editorial Assistant

Satisfashion UG Weddings, Satisfashion UG’s weddings vertical, is looking for a suitable candidate looking to build a career in the onlline media space, to fill the position of Editorial Assistant. 

This position is ONLY suited for someone who is passionate about weddings, fashion and beauty plus creating online content i.e. writing, social media and video. They should also be highly result oriented, but willing to work remotely and independently with limited supervision.

A familiarity with the Satisfashion UG brand is very essential, as is keen knowledge on weddings.

The candidate should have

Experience: We’re not so keen on this if one is a fast learner. However, experience working for a digital media brand, especially in the weddings space, is an added advantage.

Main duties will include:

• Sourcing, writing, researching and editing content as per our editorial policy/calender.
• Proof-reading, fact-checking and ensuring all relevant permissions are granted prior to a story running. 
• Attending and reporting on events in the weddings space.
• Co-managing Satisfashion UG Weddings’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook & TikTok).
• Liaising with the editor to pitch fresh, original, humorous and exciting content daily, weekly and monthly.

Compensation: The salary is aligned with online media standards.
