Satisfashion UG is Hiring a Full-time Fashion-Obsessed Editorial Assistant!

We’re looking for a fashion, beauty and pop culture obsessed candidate who is looking to build a career in the online media space. This position is ONLY suited for someone who is passionate about fashion and creating content online i.e. writing, social media and video. A familiarity with the Satisfashion UG brand is very essential, as is keen knowledge of Uganda (and the rest of the world)’s fashion and entertainment industry. Strong time management and organizational skills are crucial too.

The candidate should have

• Confident
• Passionate about online media
• Presently based in Kampala.

Experience: We’re not so keen on this, if one is a fast learner, but experience working for a digital media brand is an added advantage.

Main duties will include:

• Writing daily fashion, beauty and entertainment news posts as per our editorial policy/calender.
• Attending and reporting on after-hours events, including red carpets, fashion shows and panel discussions.
• Editing stories from our pool of freelance writers
• Co-managing Satisfashion UG’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Instagram).
• Liaising with the editor to pitch fresh, original, humorous and exciting content daily, weekly and monthly.

Salary: The salary is aligned with online media standards.
