Rihanna’s highly anticipated debut collection from her freshly minted LVMH luxury label, Fenty dropped yesterday in Paris with a ‘low key’ preview attended by select fashion editors from across the globe. This basically set tone for what the new brand is going to be about; playing by its own rules and being disruptive.
Besides being the CEO and artistic director of the brand, the pop star also plays the role of ‘muse’ evidenced in every piece in the collection, which is so ‘Rihanna’. The collection features a slew of sharp-shouldered blazers, wide-leg trousers and denim. It’s basically the singer’s personal style, but with a touch of luxury.
