Rihanna is serving legendary levels of style on the March Legacy Issue of Harper’s Bazaar US! The music titan, beauty mogul, and mother of two is celebrating 20 years since her first chart-topping hit—and doing it in the most Rihanna way possible. Draped in sultry silk dresses, corsets, and bodysuits with sky-high slits, she’s unapologetically bold, effortlessly sexy, and radiating pure attitude.
@badgalriri is determined to escape the celebrity ivory tower. “I don’t like a private room. I don’t have them shut down stores. I don’t like the Rapunzel life,” she tells Bazaar for their March 2025 Legacy Issue. “It’s very isolating. It’s very lonely. And what am I protecting myself from?”
Since welcoming her two sons—RZA and Riot—in 2022 and 2023, @badgalriri has had to navigate being a mogul and a mother at the same time. “Every decision I make revolves around them, but everything that I do that I love robs me from them,” she tells Bazaar for their March 2025 cover story. “I have to keep reminding myself that I asked for this, I love this. I try to figure out a balance so that I can feel fulfilled when I show up to something, so I can feel I don’t have any guilt.”
“I’ve been in the studio the whole eight years,” she tells Bazaar for their March 2025 Legacy Issue. “But it didn’t hit me. I was searching for it. I went through phases of what I wanted to do. ‘This kind of album, not that album.’ I know it’s not going to be anything that anybody expects. And it’s not going to be commercial or radio digestible. It’s going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now. I feel like I’ve finally cracked it, girl!”
