Reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce is Coming To Kampala

The team at Miss Uganda shared some groundbreaking news today, and we can’t be more shook. Reigning Miss World, Vannessa Ponce, who was crowned at pompous event last year in China, where our own Quinn Abenakyo emerged number four, is coming to Kampala.

The Mexican beauty queen is jetting into town together with a team from Miss World led by the pageant’s CEO Julia Morley for 6 day visit.

According to a joint statement from Talent Africa and Kezzi Entertainment, the organisers of Miss Uganda, the team will have a special tour of some of the most beautiful places in the country, before visiting State House, which we believe will be a meeting with the President (and Hon. Kiwanda, state minister of Tourism).

Ponce and her team will later attend the grand finale of Miss Uganda, concluding their 6 days in the country at the glamour event.

All eyes are on Uganda, after Abenakyo got crowned Miss World Africa 2018, a title she landed after finishing number 4, and being the only African girl among the five finalists.
