Peponi Couture Toasts to 10 Years in Business With Launch of Ready-to-wear Collection

On Sunday, April 14th, 2024, a few fashion enthusiasts, friends and clients of Peponi Couture descended upon Dean Complex in Kyaliwajjala to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand.

Founded 10 years ago by Sera Martha, Peponi Couture is one of Kampala’s leading luxury fashion brands renowned for its elegant gowns which are a fixture at weddings. In celebration of the milestone, the brand launched a new ready-to-wear collection which attendees shopped during the event emptying the racks.

In response, Martha, flanked by her husband, took to the stage to express her gratitude to everyone who had supported her along the way. She thanked her family, husband, employees, and loyal customers, presenting each with a token of appreciation. Sharing her inspiring journey, she recounted her transition from the corporate world to pursuing her passion for fashion. Despite facing challenges, including not having formal training in the field.

The ambiance at the event was one of elegance and sophistication, as guests arrived dressed in shades of white, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Among the attendees were notable personalities such as Fatuma Asha,  Malaika Tenshi,  Dyna Vence, and more.

As a gesture of appreciation, Martha’s team surprised her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, recognizing her leadership and inspiring mentorship.

The event concluded with more shopping and custom orders as guests continued to show their support for Peponi Couture and their new collection.
