Nisisi Award launch to be broadcast live on Urban TV

The event we have all been gearing up for is finally on. Friday 31st December which is tomorrow all roads lead us to Serena Hotel Kampala. In a bid to help Ugandans understand  the importance of self initiative, Twaweza an NGO teamed up with Vision Group to recognize artistes. Artistes who have done songs with the message of Self initiative are going to be recognized.

Over 21 artistes are going to be recognized at the do tomorrow. These will include all those artistes  you have been nominating through out the two months we’ve been gearing up to the event. This will coincide with the launch of the Nisisi Award category for Buzz Teeniez Awards. The award will be going out to one artiste who has taken center stage in releasing positive songs every year.

The artiste will then fly to South Africa to shoot a music video for one of his or her song.

The high end event will be broadcast live on Urban TV, Bukedde TV and TV West and will kick off at 7:30pm to 8:30 pm.
