Bella Shmurda caused a storm on social media last night after his performance during the Big Brother Naija Eviction Live show. For the performance, the Nigerian singer whose real name is Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, stepped on the stage wearing a daring combination of a blue pleated skirt with a matching spiked jacket.
Immediately after his performance of hit songs “Cash App” & “My friend” the internet went crazy with forums discussing his daring fashion choice. Memes comparing his spiked jacket to the Corona Virus filled up timelines on Twitter. Other internet users chimed in comparing the look to a spiked dinosaur and porcupine.
“Bella Shmurda’s stylist should be arrested and questioned,” @Mbahdeyforyou tweeted.
The singer, who is popular for his unique style choices, later took to Instagram to share photos of the look attracting even more comments and views on the style choice.
