Michael Kiwanuka Snags Grammy Nomination For Best Rock Album

Among the flurry of nominations for the upcoming award season, British born Michael Kiwanuka was among those who were recognised. His soulful self titled album, ‘Kiwanuka’ got the nod for Best Rock Album. After winning the coveted Hyundai Mercury prize, the crooners third studio album beat that with this recognintion.

“I’m so proud and over the moon to say that my album ‘Kiwanuka’ has been nominated for a Grammy!!!!! I can’t believe it. So excited that I could pop. My mind is well and truly blown!!!” he excitedly captioned his announcement on Instagram.
