Meet Zoe-Girl, The Woman Behind The Fashion Revolution Movement Expo!

By  |

As we communicated last week, the only fashion event to end the year is The Fashion Revolution Expo, which is set to hold on digitally on 6th December. We had a chat with Zoe Girl, the lady behind the movement on her vision for the event.

Who is Zoe-Girl?

I am the sole proprietor of a fashion house called Zoe-Girl Couture, a couture house. I am also the President/Founder of The fashion Revolution Expo Movement. We promote, develop and support creatives in the arts and fashion space. I also run The New Breed Model Management, which trains and nurtures models to reach global heights. I was nominated for the 2018 Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards in the category of “Best regional fashion designer of the year!’.

Who are your influences as a designer?

In the fashion and entertainment business, I would love to meet Ralph Lauren because he has been at it for quite some time. He’s not just a fashion designer, but also an accomplished businessman and philanthropist. He owns The Ralph Lauren corporation plus a collection of auto mobiles. He’s exactly what I see myself becoming in the future.

From a personal admiration perspective, I greatly admire Prophet Elvis Mbonye. His sense and taste in fashion is to die for! According to me, he is the most fashionable, excellent and exquisite person I have come across. And his expensive taste is everything that everyone admires and desires to have.

What prompted you to start this movement?

I’m not self-centered unlike most people in this industry, and to me, it’s not mainly about money when it comes to helping young people grow. I give it my all. My vision is to see the success of other designers, make up artists and other creatives. I really want them to reach global heights with The Fashion Revolution Expo movement as their springboard.

For example, there has never been a platform where designers are collectively given an opportunity to showcase their abilities and talent in fashion and design without monitory demands. I believe there is more than enough room for as many designers, models, makeup artists etc to rise and succeed in the business. What makes me different is that, am not just a fashion designer, I’m A DOOR OPENER and an entrepreneur!
