Maurice Kirya talks to Tattu about his fashion must haves

I decided to meet up with ‘Mwoyo‘ singer Maurice Kirya to talk about his wardrobe and day to day must haves. He shared them all in this short interview.

What are the 7 things you can’t live without?

My Phone. It doubles as my notebook.

I use my earphones to listen to whatever audio my producer might send me. They are always somewhere near me.

I can’t live without the Internet. Keeping in touch with my fans from all over the world is very important to me.

The guy is an international artiste remember!

My toothbrush. The thought of having bad breathe sickens me. So I hide one in my blazer.

Shades for obvious reasons.

I also need a book to read whenever I have a minute.

Not forgetting a car to get me by. I can’t remember when I last took a boda.

Interesting, does the book have to be the Book of Kirya?

The book has to be business related so it definitely shouldn’t be the Book of Kirya! (laughs). If it’s my book with my name on then it’s Kirya’s book!!!!!

So what are your wardrobe must haves? Those that you always own in your closet.

Good underwear and briefs to be precise are a must. They help me have a good day.

Apparently – I wonder how!

I love my all stars sneakers.

My soft denim pants. I love jeans but just can’t deal with that hard fabric of the ordinary jeans.

I always have bold or plain colored blazers. Monochrome is always my best.

Then a good deo/cologne.

And a hoodie. With my shades a hoodie anything can happen.

I’ll give him the benefit of doubt considering that he prioritizes fresh breathe and a good scent. He might have other reasons for  hiding in his hoodie.
