Lupita Nyong’o is Making Padded Crop Tops Cool In this Sparkly Velvet Two-Piece 

We’re in anticipation of what Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is going wear during red carpet season. And, we believe she knows it as she made quite a statement during her appearance at The National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday in New York City. The ‘Queen of Katwe’ star wore a sparkly velvet crop top and matching figure-hugging skirt from Balman’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection.

It was no ordinary crop top though, the sparkly piece featured pointy shoulder pads and bold silver button detail. She accessorized the look with black Jimmy Choo heels and subtle Dana Rebecca Designs rings. With her braids held in asymmetrical updo and skin looking as perfect as ever, there’s every reason to crush on this look.
