L’amour Magazine’s New Spring 22 Covers.

An ode to Afro-centric fashion

Fashion Magazine L’amour releases it’s Spring 22′ Covers collaborating with Ugandan Creatives as African print fashion, unique styling and accessory choices take center stage.

The Creative direction taken on the covers was not only fashionably edgy but took a lot of inspiration from African culture and fashion to give birth to a creative mix of bold colors, prints and accessories as shot through the lens of @bangi4to.

From the genius fashion mind of stylist @styling_oparel  came a fashionably interesting and thought provoking take on pairing prints with afro-centric accessories that are both conventional and unconventional like the use of a woven basket as a hat, comb shaped air rings, shell and printed sunglasses and over the top neck pieces to add an over the top feel while still being stylishly grounded but still giving an elevated take on the looks.

For Hair and makeup , hair and makeup guru : @vanni.beau took a very modest but edgy path going for styles very predominate in the African culture while adding small Dred locks for the male models and afros to give a full African inspired look that is both appealing to the eye but still give off an editorial edgy feel.

The Apparel showcased from  : @eguanakampala gave a wide array of African fabrics in different textures, prints and colors that showed a very polished and exquisite fashion taste and the tailoring was impeccably elevated to fit the creative shoot theme of proud African fashion with an unconventional mix of style accessories.
