Kenyan brand LilaBare unveiled its Spring Summer 22 Collection titled ‘Urithi : Heirloom’ earlier this year made from 100% East African made, organic and natural products from farm to finish.
Lila Bare prides itself in making fully sustainable pieces with its small team and network of skilled artisans & creatives from Kenya.
The brands’ East African network of farmers, weavers, spinners, manufacturing units and skilled artisans, are our long term partners with whom we work with closely. Each of us overlap in our vision to create purposeful creations that have positive impact on our local community and environment.
About the collection the Creative Director said-
“This Collection is very dear to me as it has taken several years, but I’m excited to share that it is 100% East African made, organic and natural from farm to finish. It is also entirely gender fluid and size adjustable, embodying my personal ethos that appreciates fluidity and diversity within each individual.”
Lila Bare’s use of earth tones, stripes and free flowing material gives off a very free but appeasing vibe, with it being gender neutral the collection gives 100% freedom to whoever wears it and offers no restriction as its bohemian chic feel is the right kind of style for the season.
