Juliana Kanyomozi on Her Favorite Makeup Brand and Signature Go-To Hairstyles

By  |

Juliana Kanyomozi found time in her obscenely tight schedule to share with us her make up secrets, tricks and brands. She also shared with us  her favorite hairstyle.

How much do you spend in the mirror before a show or going on stage?
I spend a bit of time. Probably an hour or so. Just to make sure both my makeup and hair are perfect. I do my own make up and style my hair myself.

What is your favourite make up brand?
I don’t like to use lots of makeup. I like to keep it almost natural. As long as I have my Oriflame Carbon Black Kajal eye liner I’m happy. It lasts all day. Plus my Oriflame Hyper Stretch mascara. I love it because it enhances my lashes and makes them look longer.

Is there anything special you do for your skin? Share the secrets.
I’m lucky I have a naturally good skin. I cleanse it often. I go for a facial once a month when I have time. I also give it time to rest and leave it make up free.

Have you ever had bad skin? If so how did you deal with it?
No! My skin has never given me problems. My mum gave me good skin.

Do you have a signature hair style?
I wouldn’t say. I like to explore new hairstyles every now and then because I get bored with the same hairstyle. So I keep changing. But I love big curly and wavy hair. So I do it a lot. It’s one of my favourite looks.

You cut your hair some few years ago, how was it having short hair? What propelled you to do so?
It was so exciting waking up suddenly with short hair. It felt fresh and new. It felt sexy too. (Laughs) I just woke up one day and decided to cut it and there was no specific reason.

What beauty tips do you have for women out there?
Take lots of water. It’s good for the skin. Do a facial every once a month at least. When it comes to make up, less is more. And it’s classy. Pick lipstick that blend well with your skin tone. Just because a certain shade is the current trend doesn’t mean it will look nice on you. Get help and advice from professional makeup artists if aren’t sure.
