Singer Wycliff Tugume, popularly known as Ykee Benda, and his fiancée Emily Nyawira officially had their kukyala ceremony at her parents’ home. Ykee Benda popped the question to his now fiancée, Emily, at Divine Resort & Spa last month, with a stunning view of the water and the sunset.
The kukyala marks the start of two traditional ceremonies, leading up to the official exchange of vows at the wedding. Continuing their color scheme of brown and white, Ykee wore a monochrome brown suit, while Emily wore all white. See photos below.
