Ugandan star Mulungi Gloria Senyonjo (Baby Gloria) has officially embarked on her journey to marital bliss, introducing her fiancé Mbaleka Jonas to her parents officially in a lavish ‘Kukyala’. Held on April 25th, 2025, at her parents’ home, the event was a masterclass in blending timeless tradition with contemporary flair.
The kukyala, a cherished prelude to the traditional wedding in Buganda culture, marked the beginning of a series of events leading to the couple’s wedding.
The couple’s love story reached a beautiful milestone in March of this year, when Jonas proposed in a scene straight out of a romance novel. While on a dreamy getaway to Zanzibar, he popped the question during a candlelit dinner, surrounded by close friends and the island’s breathtaking natural beauty. The intimate moment was filled with emotion, and Gloria later shared glimpses of the magical evening on social media, writing, “Praise the Lord, I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.
