I Used The S&V Perfume For Close To 2 Weeks, This Is What Happened

"Who wouldn't want to smell yummy every single day? Not me!"

I got to try a Ugandan made perfume and it’s been almost two weeks now. Exchanging it for my usual Victoria’s Secret & Chanel combo was daunting, because what woman doesn’t want to smell nice? I was happily surprised on so many levels.

My first impression of the perfume was that the scent was kind of sharp. that first spritz wasn’t the much to write homea bout, but once the fragrance interacted with skin for a few minutes? A whole different story! This perfume became much softer, smelled fruity, but like wine. The scent wasn’t at all overpowering and at the same time did not hide over time. By the time I went home after first trying it I was super excited to get into it more.

There is another aspect about this perfume I’m obsessed about; the packaging! I absolutely love how it is presented, the golden triangular box with the cure black bow gives me all the #luxelife feels. I’m such a lover of all things gold, so having that as a running theme with the perfume helped a whole lot. The bottle also has a yellow diamond lid that is the cutest and the crown on the lid? Well, I don’t mind if I do. I instantly know this perfume would make a perfect gift for someone you love.

As I wore this perfume over the next couple of weeks, I went around extra huggy with my friends so I could see if I could rouse a reaction or two from them about how I smell. Only a few didn’t comment. Others went on about how “nice” “sexy” and “tasty” I smelled and a few of my girlfriends wanted to know what exactly I was wearing. Of course I sent them S&V’s way, I’m not a miser with such info.

The product lasts almost the whole day from what I could tell. Whenever I got home at the end of the day I’d do a little sniff sniff on my wrist to see if I could still recognise the scent and it was still there! Which is the best because we already have too much going on in our bags, why add a fragile bottle of perfume into the mix? What if it breaks? The fact that it was long lasting had me bumping it to first place when it comes to everyday scents. I’ll keep Chanel for another day because, who wouldn’t want to smell yummy every single day? Not me!
