1. DESCRIBE THE FEELING YOU EXPERIENCED WHEN YOU DID YOUR FIRST CATWALK OR SHOOT
Agencies wanted to sign me, but my mother advised me to finish my schooling first. Now I have an Agent and stepping into my career finally. My first experience was good, although I was nervous and not my best yet. I see the growth slowly but surely happening. I know that I will develop mentally, emotionally and physically as my work progresses.
2. WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL NOW AND HOW WILL YOU FEEL IF YOU BECOME A YOUNG GIRLS’ ROLE MODEL IN THE FUTURE?
My role model of the moment is Adut Akech. I’ve learned from her that no matter how young you are or what background you come from, you are capable to reach your dreams, and nothing can hold you back except yourself. I hope that one day, there might be a young girl somewhere that will follow me as their role model and become an independent young woman.
3. COMPARED TO YOUR LIFE BEFORE MODELING, DID YOU HAVE OTHER PLANS FOR ANOTHER CAREER?
When I was still at school, I had dreams of becoming a pilot. I am still holding onto that one and you never know! I might just do that one day. I had dreams that I might achieve things or become someone, that no black girl from my country has ever dreamed of doing.
