Fashion Moments from Smirnoff Fiestas 3rd Edition

The third edition of Smirnoff Fiestas that happened on Saturday delivered much more than expected, and the fashion moments were absolutely everything! From 12pm when doors opened, the crowd came through serving looks that had us taking notes all night long.

This wasn’t just another party. The Smirnoff Art Project brought together innovative Ugandan creatives from Katoto Studio, House of Sosho and more to create something we’d never seen before. Think interactive virtual reality experiences and limited-edition fashion pieces showcased exclusively at the event. The whole setup was a fashion photographer’s dream, with attendees posing for pictures in their carefully curated outfits at the different photo booths, each backdrop more Instagram worthy than the last.

When Sheila Gashumba, who branded herself as the Amapiano DJ for the night, took over the stage alongside vianna Indi, the energy was absolutely electric. The crowd responded accordingly, busting out their best Amapiano dance moves, and honestly, our cameras were working overtime browsing through everyone’s fits.
We can confidently say they all ate and left no crumbs! From wide leg pants to oversized blazer, it was full vibes delivered in pure Amapiano streetwear style.

The entire lineup was absolutely crazy throughout the night, featuring the best of the best DJs and hosts – Etania, Sheila Gashumba, DJ Dranix, DJ Vanss, Sammy Wetala, Saint Trevor, Tojo 256, Casmir, and many more! What stood out for me wasn’t just their mixing skills, but how their outfits were absolutely breathtaking. Every single one of them understood the assignment, serving looks that perfectly matched the energy they brought to the decks.

Now when the dancers hit the stage, it was a complete blast that elevated everything to another level! Watching these performers move in their coordinated fits was gold!

This edition of Smirnoff fiestas was proof that Kampala’s style scene is the only one to watch out for.
