Everything We Saw and Loved At Uganda International Fashion Week

Here are highlights of the night.

The 6th edition of Uganda International Fashion Week closed yesterday with a grand finale fashion show at Kampala Serena Hotel. So much was going on left and right but here’s what we especially loved from the Fashion week finale.

The dress code was black, so the fashion sightings weren’t just on the runway; they were all over the red carpet and the sidelines too. South African Designers did not come to play but neither did the Ugandans, all brought their best to the runway (but we’ll be looking into that a little later on). We were pleasantly surprised to hear the voice of singer/songwriter Afrie, who performed her song African Girl. The front row seats were star-studded, boasting of fashion names like Gloria Haguma, Joram Muzira and Anitah Beryl.

Santa Anzo was glowing the whole evening as she saw her vision come to pass in the most chic way possible. For you who couldn’t be there, here are some photos that crowned the night.
