Everyone (Except You) is Wearing Tie-dye!

TIf you thought tie-dye was something we left in the ‘90s, it’s time to think again, because it’s back. The psychedelic print is having a major moment, thanks to fashion’s current nostalgia which is resurrecting almost all your favourite ‘80s and ‘90s trends plus some you disliked.

We first spotted this colourful print on the runway during Kampala Fashion Week presented by Afrocentric brand Beau Sapeur. The once hippie print came back strong, appearing on jumpsuits in alluring bright shades of lime green, red and then white and black. It looks like the ‘90s days where it was reserved for camp style are long gone.

If you’re looking to add a colourful vibe to your outfits, consider tie-dye first. It’s possible that you’ll forget that you owned anything in a monochromatic palette. From jackets, to dresses and suits, the options are endless.
