Everyone (except YOU) Is Wearing ‘Paper Bag Waist’ Pants!

This is one of those trends you’re going to be shocked is upon us, because these pants have been around, you probably own a pair or two already. But did you know they’re called ‘paper bag waist pants’? I bet you did. Well, they are, and they are a thing now.

Paper bag waist pants feature extra fabric around the midsection, usually pleated and cinched in with a detachable belt and loose fitting legs. Doesn’t sound flattering, does it? Yes, the silhouette is tricky to work with, but that doesn’t mean it can’t work. The detachable belt accentuates the waist creating a lean shape. The high waist is a great pairing with a cropped top for those comfortable baring the navel.
