Eva Namanya, a company administrator, and Mathias Ssebuuma, a software engineer met at her former workplace. “He had an ongoing project with my then boss. Hence, he often came by to the office,” she shares.
As she prayed and fasted for a virtous husband, Matt (as she prefers to call him) asked her out on a date. “I asked God for this to be true, pure and genuine,” she recalls. Indeed, it was, the couple tied the knot on 3rd October, 2020. They held a fabulous wedding bash at 7 Trees Kololo in celebration of the union.
Her story
The inception of my love story, is my personal version/experience of “Ciara’s prayer.” In hindsight, the year was 2015 where I worked at a Branding Company. My husband (Mathias) had an ongoing project with my then boss. Hence, he often came by to the office.Fast forward, I was doing a two weeks fast and prayer (“Ciara’s prayer), specifically for my future spouse. On my last day of the fast, Matt (my husband now) asked me out on a date. I asked God for this to be true, pure and genuine to the dot, as I had been fasting for a fortnight. The date was perfect and the beginning of our happily ever after journey(courtship). I believe God answered my prayer as he is everything I prayed, waited and fasted for. Forever grateful ❤❤❤❤❤
