Denis Masinde Onyango is one the reasons I’m religiously following this year’s AFCON. The Ugandan goal keeper’s genius goal keeping skill is one of the reasons we’re still in the tournament. At 34 years, he plays for Mamelodi Sundowns, a South African team (I swear I just googled this, I had no idea) where he’s doing pretty well. He also had a very successful stint playing in Uganda before he moved to the South African Premier soccer league.
Onyango has really done a great job, acting like a brick wall where goals can’t enter, and I’m confident that with him on board Uganda might go as far as the finals this year. This is exactly why I’m planning to change my last name to Onyango. Denis Onyango is mine, it’s in my contract. Okay, i signed it in my dreams, but that’s still fine.
Is this even up for discussion?
