One of the highlights of last evening’s CRN2 finale was Mosha Danze’s show stopping outfit. The Skizzy presenter had tongues wagging with his double breaste suit which was finished with cropped pants and gold coloured men’s pump shoes.
Many people just didn’t understand the the mix and match of cropped pants with a dapper suit. Others were baffled with the pump shoes which trended on twitter during the show. Well first of all it is very okay to stay away from this trend. It is fine to wear everything else and leave this one out. You will not be attacked for not wearing cropped pants. This answers those that were a bit disgusted by the look.
This is one for the risk takers. While it looked good on Mosha, it might never work for you so consider the fit and the sizes of the pieces you choose to wear just so you don’t look off.
Cropped pants have been doing the rounds on the fashion radar for a while. Designers are opting for ankle revealing pants – because ankles are now fashionable. These pants also emphasize the shoes. It’s best to wear statement shoes in this case. This explains why you could all see Mosha’s shoes last night.
You can cuff your pants just like we shared in our post here. You can also opt to purchase a pair that is already cropped. Tailore made pants are always of great fit. However you CAN drop by Abryanz Collection at Garden city basement to treat yourself.
The question of whether you should wear socks or not entirely depends on you. It is better to wear long socks that cover an inch of your limbs or not wear at all. Anything in between is rather disturbing.
Cropped suits have been worn by the most stylish men on the planet from Tinie Tempah to David Beckham and Zac Efron. This is something good to wear on special events or if you are performer this is something to wear on the stage at a concert. If you are singing as bad as me, at least people will talk about your fashion. It’s edgy cool and trendy. As I said above it might not work for everybody and it’s very okay to stay away from this trend.
