Christian Siriano Ends NYFW With A Splash

A look into his Spring collection.

One of the last shows of the mostly virtual New York Fashion Week was with former winner of Project Runway, Christian Siriano. The illustrious show which was held at his mansion included over 30 looks which inspired a ton of nostalgia.

From the classic gingham prints to large bowler hats and blazer inspired dresses, he never failed to bring the drama his career has been known for. While all the models had matching masks on, we do know JMM model Akello Patricia strutted in two of the looks of the day.

The show which was in his huge garden, had the few invited guests spread out all over the stage, with the swimming pool as the centrepiece. as models strut across the little bridges placed over the pools in their stilettos by Sarah Jessica Parker, one couldn’t help but fear for one of them to trip and end up drenched. Well, our worst fears were fulfilled in the best way, as at the end, Coco Rocha, who had caused gasps modeling while visibly pregnant, casually got into the pool for a bit of a swim!
