Caitlin Ochana is Miss Uganda UK 2019

The 9^th edition of Miss Uganda UK was held at Ark Globe Academy last Saturday. 17-year-old Caitlin Ochana emerged winner of the crown taking over from Peninah Wampamba, who was crowned last year.

Ochana is an A level student doing Sociology, English Literature & History.

Her new role entails carrying out official Miss Uganda UK campaigns and being the official ambassador & face and voice of Jubilee Campaign Uganda.
 
In 2nd place (1^stPrincess) was contestant No.2 Teopista Nakitende who was awarded Best Creative Wear, and in 3^rdplace (2^ndPrincess) contestant No.3 Reyne Kakooza winning the ambassador role (the face) of Maureen Skin Care.
 
Other mini awards of the night went to;

Miss Personality (by finalists) – Charvia Kyazze
Best Ambassador (social media activity) – Ashley Mbabazi
Rising Woman award (MUUK team) – Ashley Mbabazi 
Best Swim Wear (by the judges) – Jawhara Nsubuga
Best Evening Wear (by the judges) – Kathryn-Zeta Pope
Game changers (judge’s recognition) – Nisha Kilembwe & Nabila Mpanga
