Which stars will walk away with Buzz Teeniez Awards this Saturday?

The annual Buzz Teeniez awards will finally take place at Kati Kati this Saturday. The awards which are running for their seventh time award and recognize artistes, media personality and influencers who excelled during the past year. The voting and nomination process involves strictly young people which makes these awards overly special. Past winners include artistes such as Juliana Kanyomozi, Bebe Cool and media personalities such as Flavia Tumusiime.

While it’s  glitz and glamour for celebrities who strive to make an impression on the young attendees, it’s s a spectacle of juvenile street style from the teens in attendance. If there’s an event in Kampala that attracts the most street style stars then it has to be this one.

This year’s nominees’ list includes some of the biggest names in music right now from Fille to Ruyonga and Navio. Some of the most interesting categories on this list include Teeniez Female artiste which has Irene Ntale, Cindy, Rema and Fille. I wonder who will emerge victor here.

These teen stars Sheila and Sasha are battling for the Teen TV show presenter award

Capital FM’s Flavia Tumusiime is nominated for Teeniez best radio presenter where she has to beat Hot 100’s DJ Gero and Kahuna in order to win. We are rooting for her of course. However its the teens to decide. Sheila Gashumba is also nominated in the Teen TV show presenter category against our friends Sasha and MC Talha. There we won’t pick a favorite.

Other nominees include Ruyonga for Teeniez rapper, Mun G for Teeniez male artiste and Mosha Danze for Teeniez TV presenter.

Online voting was closed so what is left is for you to wait for the list of winners which will be shared alongside a slew of epic performances from stars such as Eddy Kenzo and Sheebah. Entrance fare will be only Shs10,000 and this will come with what organisers term as ‘exciting activities!
