Bridal World being one of the big sponsors of the Bride and Groom Expo pulled out all stops to put on a memorable show. This they did with the only weapon in their arsenal, an extensive collection of stunning gowns. Playing with shape and dimension, Bridal World’s gowns offered what in my opinion was an alternative to what was an ‘all white bridal gown’ filled three day expo. It was refreshing seeing different shapes, drapes silhouettes and colours.
Two of my picks from this collection include; a high low dress akin to a cocktail dress which makes for an unexpected choice especially considering the market’s obsession with ‘grand gowns’, and another one having dramatic sheer sleeves which gave me 80’s vibes. The audience’ favourite look was unsurprisingly a sheer/naked dress which left little to imagine.
