Brian Ahumuza Honoured With MUBS Award For Outstanding Performance in Fashion

Famed stylist and fashion entrepreneur Brian Ahumuza was honoured with the Outstanding Performance award as the Best Fashion Trendsetter by Makerere University Business School (MUBS) at the 9th annual MUBS Hospitality Day Awards which held last week.

Ahumuza is one of the most influential personalities in Uganda’s fashion industry thanks to his hugely successful Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards and his clothing store Abryanz Collection. The Abryanz brand was started in 2010 as a humble clothing outlet located in downtown Kampala and has over the years grown by leaps and bounds to become a huge fashion force. Abryanz Collection has outfitted top African stars such as D’Banj while the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards is arguably the biggest fashion awards event on the continent.

He has fronted campaigns for brands such as Coca-Cola, and he’s Ciroc’s brand ambassador in Uganda. Last year he was named Person of The Year by Satisfashion UG readers.
