Brenda Nanyonjo Sizzles in Sylvia Owori Dress She Wore 9 Years Ago

She still has the curves and body for it!

Miss Uganda proprietor and ace stylist Brenda Nanyonjo is back in town after a long holiday in the UK. She was in attendance at the 2017 Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards where she walked the red carpet in in a long sleeved dress that featured a feather centerpiece.

This was no ordinary dress though, it’s a Sylvia Owori creation from her Gold and Dust collection presented 9 years ago at Cape Town Fashion Week. She wore this dress to an event in the US where she was representing Sylvia Owori. Nine years after, she still got the curves and body for it.

“I got the invitation really late, so I had to come up with something to wear on short notice. I walked into Sylvia Owori’s store at Garden City where I found this beautiful dress on sale. It wasn’t just any dress though. It’s from Sylvia Owori’s ‘Gold and Dust’ collection which she did 9 years ago.

By then, I was working with her and we went to Cape Town fashion week to showcase the collection. I later wore the dress to an event in the US where I was representing Sylvia Owori. 9 years after, the dress still fitted me like a glove. I decided to wear it. Hair and makeup is my own,” she shared.
