Yesterday everyone was glued to their tv or phone screen trying to see what their favourite star was wearing to the 77th Golden Globe Awards, the first award show of the season. For us, some time was needed to process level of glamour these actors brought to the carpet. Thus, let’s take a look into the best looks from the event:

Clearly Billy Porter won the red carpet. Anyone who thought they could grab that top spot were deflated once they saw his peacock of a train, I mean, who has a train on their suit!?

Jeannie Mai came through in a pristine white jumpsuit with embroidery on top, but did you catch that warrior/gladiator sleeves? She came to slay, literally!

This dress had fashionistas buzzing with this black and white dress. The draping cape made her look like some sort of butterfly and we love it.

J-Lo came princesslike in a voluminous gown with a gold bodice, a wite skirt and the largest bow we have seen on the star so far! I guess she heard when people complained of her plunging neckline+high slit combo and came to shake us up.

Kerry Washington forgot her top at home, but apparently that was intended. Instead of that, she wore a silver chain that snaked around her torso, and barely covered her chest with a blazer.

Queen B was in attendance but of course she is too regal to be on your red carpets. She wore this elegant black gown with puffy gold sleeves to wow the few who were lucky to see her. And did you see how that dress hugs her curves?

Kat Graham brought the star power in this cutout red dress with the thigh high slit and matching heels. The look was powerful, sultry, and made us want to hit the gym ASAP!

The current sexiest couple alive came through with an ethereal air to them. Lisa Bonet with the wavy dreadlocks and sheer dress with creeping greenery on it. Her man was coordinating in a velvet green blazer, and wow. She’s a lucky woman. Just look!

Power couple Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra came to stun, with Priyanka in a snatched baby pink gown and dripping in diamonds, while her beau was a class act in black, and attempted to kick out the slim shoe silhouette.

Winnie Harlow was a sensual picture in this slinky black fringe dress with a slit that almost hits her waist! She paired it with platform heels and long flowy black hair. She reminds me of Jessica Rabbit and kills it.

Zoe Kravitz came with her effortless vibes in this mixed polka dot dress. The pixie cut and the classic makeup make this look compete with the biggest bustiest gowns of the day, and dare I say, winning?
