1. Beyoncé Covers Vogue France Announcing her New Haute Couture Collection With Balmain

Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing and Beyoncé have released a collection inspired by her acclaimed Renaissance album. Rousteing was a major fan of the album and came to her with the idea to collaborate. “I could have been using my time to finalize all the details for the September runway,” Rousteing explains. “And I really should have been making more of an effort to disconnect, relax and enjoy my summer vacation.

But I just couldn’t stop myself. Day after day, I kept dreaming up and sketching out new concepts inspired by Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE, the album that had been constantly blaring in my home, office, atelier and vacation rental—and in an endless loop in my head—ever since it dropped in July 2022 . There was no plan, project, or expectation. I had absolutely no reason to be dedicating so much of my time to those drawings, outside of the simple pure pleasure I got from creating something completely new, as I channeled her glorious, joy-filled art into my own.” Bey will be wearing one of the looks on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue France.

2. Actress Megan Good Lands A Feature In Essence Magazine

With divorce behind her and having joined the DC Universe, the actress is embracing her next chapter: “I get to start life all over again, in my prime.”

“I feel like I fall in a unique space,” she says. “Growing up, me and Christina Milian and Zoe Saldaña were up for a lot of the same things. But also, being Black women, we kind of merged. We could be anywhere between 32 to 43. I kind of feel like we’re all somewhere around the same age of 37.”

3. Yara Shahidi For Birdie Magazine

For @Byrdie‘s Revival Issue, we’ve distilled down the reflex to reset and revive. We want this season to feel like we’re all moving toward an upswing. With that in mind, there’s no better woman to cover this issue than @yarashahidi ✨

The interview introduces you to her brilliant and beautiful mind. #yarashahidi talks about navigating her 20s, attending Harvard, balancing time with loved ones, and her ever-growing career. But Yara is more thoughtful than her 23 years on this earth would have you believe. Through it all, her purpose has become more steadfast, tangible even, and each year has brought her more clarity.”— Sr. Editorial Director of @byrdie@gouldhallie

4. Mugler X H&M is Here!

H&M and Mugler teamed up for a partnership this spring. The collection by Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader includes both womenswear, menswear and accessories and launches in select stores and online on May 11th. “My idea of Mugler has always been democratic,” Cadwallader tells Vogue, “and this was a way of making it clear that it’s always been about bringing everyone in. I am also a big fan of stratification, making something that is $10,000 and something that is $50.  The collab will kick off with a runway show on April 19th in New York City.

5. FENDI has launched their Peekaboo campaign with Naomi Campbell

Peekaboo, we see you! Naomi is reprising her role as the face of Peekaboo for FENDI in their new Spring campaign. The black and white image was shot by David Sims. The bag first premiered at the FENDI Spring/Summer 2009 show and has become the signature bag for the brand. Venturini Fendi said at the time it’s “the only occasion in which a woman would be recommended to walk around with an unfastened and unlocked bag.”
