Beatrice Aol, a Ugandan Model, Gets Vivienne Westwood’s Stamp of Approval!

Beatrice Aol has made her international debut at Vivienne Westwood during Paris Fashion Week. The Ugandan model has not just walked for the iconic British brand, she opened their A/W show which held in Paris today, leading a pack of models that included industry stars such as Bella Hadid.

Aol’s journey hasn’t been a rosy one. She packed her bags and flew to Paris with dreams of getting signed to an international agency. She had no show cards or agency but still went ahead to cast for shows, tagging along Aketch Joy Winnie, also a Ugandan model. She was lucky to be allowed to cast for Vivienne Westwood.

Every fashion model’s dream is to get the stamp of approval of a renowned photographer or designer. Aol caught the attention of Ms. Westwood, who immediately organised an agency go see for her with Select Paris, an agency, which signed her.

Today, she has opened Vivenne Westwood’s A/W 20 show in Paris.
