Anne Kansiime has announced her first-ever stand-up comedy special, and she did it in style.
The comedian and all-round entertainer shared a series of beautiful Afrocentric looks on her social media pages, building excitement before making the big reveal. In her caption, Anne shared just how special this moment is to her.
“This is my very first Stand-Up Comedy Special at the Uganda National Theatre where it all started for me in Kabale Primary School choir,” she wrote.
The show will take place on April 12, the eve of her 40th birthday, at the Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC). Anne said she plans to celebrate her big day in a very special way with her fans, adding that tickets are extremely limited.
She also reminded fans to mark their calendars; the event will be held on a Sunday, and the tickets go for 150k per person.
For those who won’t make it to the live show, the comedy special will air exclusively on Play It Loud.
