Among the distinguished guests were household names like, Ramsey Nouah, and Flavia Tumusiime, Osita Iheme. Nancy Isime, mingling amidst an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Even government officials, including Minister Betty Amongi and UNESCO’s Country Director, graced the occasion, emphasizing the importance of supporting Ugandan talent and protecting intellectual property rights.
However, the pinnacle of the evening came with the heartfelt tribute to Michael Wawuyo Sr., who received the Lifetime Achievement of the Year award. Amidst accolades and admiration from his peers, Wawuyo Sr. humbly accepted his honor, acknowledging the unexpected yet deeply appreciated recognition. As the event drew to a close, the stage ignited with unforgettable performances by Young Mulo, Queen Bella, and more, leaving guests enthralled and eagerly awaiting the next iKon extravaganza.
