Afrie’s New Music Video for ‘Let Her Know’ is Such a Mood!

Soul music is not given the respect it deserves here in Uganda but that isn’t stopping our talent from churning out new content. Sitting at the throne of this genre is a young lady called Afrie. Her 2019 EP “Afriedom” had many heartwarming tracks, but none hit home more than “Let her know.”

Today she released the official video for the track and if you’re a fan, you might be confused, since there already was a video for it, but it seems Afrie wanted to rethink the vision, and woah she did just that.

In this video, a little girl has been left instructions to hang washed clothes to dry. Just like any curious young girl she gets distracted. She begins to dance and later takes a moment to raid her mom’s closet for something funky to wear. I cannot ignore the cuts of Afrie who dons a power suit by Kredibility Styling and another flamboyant look by Marish Designs.

The song is definitely on repeat this weekend, but the video is a must-watch!
