Ace Stylist Karenhappuch IbiaraTakes Kigali in Yusmah Fashion and Uzi Collections

During the past few weeks Karenhappuch Ibiara’s social feed has been littered with photos of her vacationing on the sandy beaches of Zanzibar. The ace stylist and image consultant has been on a much needed holiday, after all, we all know what 2020 did it us. Her holiday climaxed with a stopover in Kigali Rwanda, where she starred in a photo shoot modelling some of her favourite designs from Uzi Collections from Rwanda and Yusmah Fashions from Uganda.

UZI Collections was founded in July 2015 by Rwandan designers, Nathalie and Laurene, as a result of their passion and love for fashion. Their initial goal was to impact and empower young people and to boost the economy of Rwanda through. The brand has, however, surpassed all that becoming one the leading fashion brands in the region. They are popular for their use of batik fabric. 

Yusmah fashions is a budding design brand based here in Kampala, a brainchild of Yusmah, a final-year student at Tesi Fashion Schoom. This gown is inspired by 1920s jazz.

Inzuki is a dynamic young Rwandan accessories brand specialising in hand-made jewellery, accessories and interior decor that. All products are Rwanda-made, Africa-inspired and globally-loved.
