Swedish clothing giant H&M has unveiled the seventh installment in its Conscious Exclusive collection, introducing new sustainable fabrics. H&M continues its commitment to sustainable fashion with accessories made from recycled candlesticks and apparel made from discarded fishing nets and other nylon waste. The collection is out from April 19.
Designs in the Conscious Exclusive 2018 collection pay homage to Swedish artists Karin and Carl Larsson. The tapestries and embroideries by Karin Larsson, as well as contrasting pieces from the duo’s home and life, have inspired this new line of ready-to-wear clothing, lingerie, footwear and accessories. These influences are channeled via floral jacquards, abstract embroideries and motifs echoing objects from the pair’s home.
The collection is fronted by supermodel Christy Turlington alongside Ugandan star Aamito Lagum.
