[PHOTOS] You Have to See Bettinah Tianah’s Take on The Viral 90s Yearbook AI Trend

By  |

Social media users are leaning into childhood nostalgia and creating school yearbook photos thanks to the newest AI-powered social media trend. Epik, a free-to-download photo editing app, offers a ’90s-style yearbook photo edit that has gone viral on Instagram and TikTok.

The Epik app from the South Korean company Snow Corporation is by no means new. Still, one of its many AI filters took off in recent weeks when celebrities and influencers started sharing retro-styled photos of themselves. Give it a quick search and you’ll see celebrities like American actress and singer Keke Palmer, American DJ Steve Aoki, and now Bettinah Tianah in 90s outfits, hairstyles, and backgrounds.

In the post, she captioned, “Which of these AI-generated images of me really look like me? Idk I don’t see it 😅” Bettinah shares five pictures that show different versions of herself as a highschooler in the 90s and the resemblance is quite uncanny if we say so ourselves, but you judge for yourself.
