The 2019 Collections Issue
The Boldest Looks of The Season, Modeled By The Models To Watch
Dressing this season doesn’t have to be a hustle, if the new collections are anything to go by. A mix and match of prints, pops of colours and a number of dreamy gowns. Our cast, the models to watch this season, model the looks on location at Levels Lounge & Restaurant, in Kampala, photographed by Tessa Lwanga.
Bold In Africa
Bold in Africa brought a mix of honey coloured silks and retro vibes.
Gloria Wavamunno
Balancing feminine and masculine was this whole collection’s vibe and the effortlessness of the execution was worth noting. The artisan work on the head cage and wooded purse brought an extra oomph to the pieces.
Kai’s Divo Collection
There was that sense of balance; light with heavy, gentle and strong, black and white with pieces from Kai’s Divo Collection.
Eguana Kampala
We time travel back to the 70’s with Eguana Kampala, with printed party ready suits. The playful yet continuous use of colour and print made for a collection that could be added to any fashionista’s closet with ease.
Nina Mire by Nina Mirembe
Nina Mirembe returns yet again with another crotchet collection, getting us ready for all the beach parties this holiday season.
Sonco
Sonco utilized recycled denim and bark cloth to save the planet.
Mshona
Mshona’s gowns are something out of a dream.
