Fun Factory Comedy Group Off the Stage for Three Weeks

Today Thursday November 24, 2016 is the last day the Mirinda Sponsored comedy group Fun Factory will be performing at National Theater in their weekly comedy show – Comedicine.

The over 17 comedy members group will be preparing for “Five Star Madness,” their biggest comedy show of the year.

“We want to give our fans the best, so we shall take off like three weeks to prepare for Five Star Madness, the biggest annual comedy show in Uganda” Said Hannington Bujingo one of the directors of the group.

The show slated for Thursday December 15th, 2016 at Serena Hotel Kampala will have all the 17 members of Fun Factory perform.

“All the members will perform and all the content is new. Am talking about super content that has never been performed on any platform anywhere,” said Richard Tuwangye another Fun Factory Director.

Tuwangye also added that the show which will be sponsored by Mirinda, NBS TV, Capital FM, SMS One among others will have entry fees at shs70,000 silver, shs100,000 gold and shs2 million shillings for a corporate table that accommodates 10 people.

According to Bujingo, the weekly comedy shows at National Theatre will resume after Five Star Madness with a number of changes.

“We shall return to National Theater very different, we are going to put comedy on another level in this country, just watch the space,” Bujingo added.
