5 reasons you should stay away from these Versace shirts

It was one of the most sought after trends towards the end of last year and is still one to wear for celebrities around the world. With the versace shirt I’m referring to that graphic print that was a hit all over. The shirts come with lots of detail, colour and the signature Medusa logo of Versace. As shown in the photos below. It’s very exciting to announce that it’s one of the trends that should be flushed down the drain. ASAP.
I share my candid reasons why should ditch it.

Most of the shirts have the Versace logo screaming in everybody’s face

1. The shirts are now worn by everyone anytime and anywhere. From the high end side of the city to down town, its what they all wearing. Now that’s a fad. Leave it.

2. Fake versions of the shirts are floating all over Mukwano arcade retailing at only Shs 7000! Yes for only that you can get yourself a t shirt or shirt that was worn by Rick Ross in that music video I choose to forget. It doesn’t make sense when you still keep wearing such an item.

3. The trend is also tired and over done. Easy come. Easy go. It penetrated into Kampala’s style scene just so easily and should go as easily as that.

5. Versace presented their fall collection this month. The show was inspired by cow boys and had models walk down the runway in cut out pants showing their underwear. The signature Medusa  print that everyone in Kampala is crazy about was no where to be seen. 

That only meant that it’s gone. Let’s embrace the new Versace look that is less graphic.
