When you’re accustomed to making the news for blood diamonds, misbehaving billionaire boyfriends, and, uh, mobile phones, it can be a pleasant change of pace to talk about your dogs and thrice-a-week juice cleanses.

At least that’s how we’d feel if we were Naomi Campbell.

Harper’s Bazaar asked the scandal-magnet super about the simpler things in life for its “24 Hours with …” series — the place to go if you want to know about the nightshirt Karl sleeps in or Jenna Lyons’ coffee ice cream habit — and she responded with a mix of answers so consummately high-low it’d make Betty Autier eat her Giuseppe Zanottis.

The endearingly normal: She brings snacks to tapings of The Face. She answers emails on her commute. She goes to Zumba. She hasn’t seen The Butler yet either. She watches Scandal.

The “let me remind you of who I am”: She gulps down three very Goop-y-sounding drinks before 7:00 a.m. She has a Blackberry and an iPhone. It only takes 1.5 hours for her hair and makeup. The “really sweet” salespeople at Helmut Lang and Louis Vuitton let her in (it sounds like) after hours. She gets massages at midnight.
