11 Ugandan Models To Watch Now

Joram's class of bankable faces!

Uganda has been churning out great talent in the realm of fashion modeling; from Kiara Kabukuru who is one of the most sought models in the world and a favorite of former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, Aamito who has featured in advertising campaigns for major fashion brands such as Marc Jacobs, and Patricia Akello who is a fast rising model in South Africa, to the iconic Tooro princess Elizabeth Bagaaya whose grace inspired Zac Posen’s Fall 2016 collection. This is why Kampala has a number of aspiring models, with the dream of hitting the big stage.

Among the many faces, are 11 models whose star is definitely going shine for very long, and many of them are  among the most sought after models for both runway and advertising jobs. The industry is just growing, and for a fact, models in Uganda earn very little, but these gentlemen and ladies are passionate and patient, attending castings and walking on runways everywhere. It goes without saying that, these are the models to watch. Using Tyra Bank’s popular adage, You either have it or you don’t, and another by Heidi Klum, You are either in, or you are out – These 11 models have it, and they are so in!
