How Designer Dyna Vence Celebrated Her Wedding Anniversary Amid Covid-19 Scare!
In a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus in Uganda, the government put out a directive to ban all public gatherings such as weddings and concerts. This might have been a step in the right direction, but many wedding plans were halted; couples had to suspend their events and others had to cancel them altogether. It however was a different case for designer Dyna Vence Ruvuza.
Instead of having a small event or dinner, she and the husband chose to have photo shoot in celebration of their 6th wedding anniversary.
“We wanted to have a small dinner, but it wasn’t safe to hold it considering what’s going on in the country. We opted for this photo shoot,” she shared over the phone.
“Today is our 6th anniversary. Too much sadness and fear going around but am so glad I have you by my side protecting me. Happiest anniversary my beautiful hubby and thankyou for giving me the best 6years of my life. Looking foward to 69 more years with you😄. I love you
#staysafe,” she shared to Instagram.
The dress was inspired by the wedding gown she wore 6 years ago.
“This dress was inspired by my original wedding gown. I tried to take as many details from their as I could but keeping it modern and sexy. I used the exact same fabric and colour. I had so much detail on the original, I had the pleating, the draping, the asymetrical neckline, beading and lace applique.Oh and the gloves. Lol. The masks were inspired by the situation at hand.”
