Eddy Kenzo’s New Music Video is Basically a David Tlale Fashion Show

Eddy Kenzo released his much hyped new music for ‘Signal’, a song off his Roots album. The singer posted a photo of himself next to a young woman early in the week which sent ripples all through the internet. Well, it turned out that the photo was part of the new video project. Of course this put an end to all the hullabaloo.

The video is set in a posh mansion where a slew of models are strutting all over the place in couture looks. Notable among them being pieces from David Tlale’s Spring Summer 18/19 collection called ‘Azania’. The Nelson Mandela inspired collection featured free flowing kaftans emblazoned with famous quotes from South African icons Nelson Mandela and Winnie Mandela.

The collection was presented in Kampala during the 2018 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards.
