Windhoek Fashion Week Kicks Off Today With The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards Launch Party

By  |

The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards were started in 2013 with the objective of recognizing movers and shakers in Uganda’s fashion industry. After a successful three years of glamor and color , the awards have gone continental, recognizing talent from across Africa. A total of eight Namibians have been nominated this year, which makes sense that the Abryanz team is currently in Windhoek to launch the awards in the city.

Nominees from all over southern Africa who are in the city for fashion week, have been invited and will be in attendance at Grove Mall today. The invitation list includes some of Africa’s most celebrated fashion people from Trevor Stuurnman and David Tlale to the amazing Bonang Matheba.

“This launch is part of the ASFAs’ continental take over, and launches of this kind will be held in various parts of Africa every year,” said Gloria Haguma, communication manager of the event.

The Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards will be held on 9th December 2016 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
